🔊 Solve audio problems in TiviMate (weak sound, no sound, AC3)

If you have weak sound, no sound on certain channels or problems with AC3/Dolby audio, here are the most effective solutions in TiviMate.

🛠️ Step 1 - Check your device's audio output

  • Make sure that the volume on your device (TV, Box, Fire Stick) is not muted or too low.
  • Disable special audio options (Dolby, DTS, passthrough) if your TV doesn't support them.

🎚️ Step 2 - Changing the audio decoder in TiviMate

  1. Open TiviMate
  2. Go to Settings / Playback
  3. Go down to Audio decoder
  4. Test : Auto → Hardware → Software

Some boxes read AC3 better in Software. Software often sets «no sound».

🎵 Step 3 - Forcing another audio format

  • While watching a channel, open the menu (OK or down arrow)
  • Select Audio track (Audio track)
  • Change tracks: AAC, MP3, AC3, etc.

Some channels offer multiple audio tracks. AC3 can give a silent screen if your TV doesn't support it.

🔌 Step 4 - Check your connections (HDMI, sound bar)

  • Change HDMI ports if you're using a sound bar or amplifier.
  • Make sure that the HDMI-CEC does not automatically mute the sound.

🔄 Step 5 - Restart the application or box

  • Close TiviMate completely (force stop if Android)
  • Restart device (TV / Fire Stick / Box)

💡 Additional tips

  • If the sound is very weak: set Playback → Volume boost in TiviMate.
  • Some 4K streams use AC3 exclusively: use Software decoder if your TV doesn't support Dolby.
  • Test several channels: the problem may only come from one specific stream.
