If a stream doesn't start, shows a black screen, loads infinitely, or gives an error Reading error, Here are the most reliable steps for correcting the problem.

🛠️ Step 1 - Check your Internet connection

  • Ensure the device is properly connected (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
  • Test another app (YouTube, Netflix) to confirm that the connection is stable.

🧹 Step 2 - Force playlist update

  1. Open TiviMate
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Enter Playlists
  4. Select your playlist
  5. Click on Update

If the playlist is expired or incorrectly loaded, this step often solves the problem instantly.

🎥 Step 3 - Changing the video decoder

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Open Player (Playback)
  3. Change the option Decoder :
    • Auto → Hardware → Software (test all three)

Some Android boxes decode channels better using hardware, others use software. Test until the channel starts playing.

🧪 Step 4 - Test multiple channels and categories

  • Test another channel in the same group
  • Test a string from another country

If several channels are not playing: network or playlist problem.
If it's a single channel: it may be temporarily offline.

🔄 Step 5 — Fully restart the device

  • Restart your box / Fire Stick / Android TV (don't just close the app).
