📡 Connection problems, blackouts or a black screen in the ZenithTV application? Here's what to do

⚠️ This guide concerns the ZenithTV application on Android, Chromecast, Android TV, Google TV, Firestick and similar devices.
If you are using the Mac or Windows version, please consult the guide for these versions.

If your ZenithTV application isn't loading channels, movies or series, if you're experiencing blackouts or a black screen, here are the steps you need to take to solve the problem yourself.

👉 Follow the steps in order, but if the cuts disappear after applying certain tips, you don't need to go any further.

🧩 Step 1: Restart the application

Close the application completely (quit it, don't leave it running in the background), then open it again.

🔄 Step 2: Update content

From the main menu, click on the update logo below each category: Live TV, Films and Series.
This allows you to force the reloading of lists after an installation, an update or if your content seems empty.

🔌 Step 3: Restart the device

Unplug your device (box, TV, etc.), wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
This corrects many temporary blockages.

🚀 Step 4: Test your Internet connection

From the ZenithTV application:

  1. Go to Parameters
  2. Click on Speed Test
  3. Check that your flow rate is at least 30 Mbps

Less than 30 Mbps? Try moving closer to the router or restarting it.

⏳ Step 5: Check your account and service status

  • In the application, go to User info to see the expiration date of your subscription
  • Also check the ZenithTV service status here :

⚙️ Step 6: Adjust settings in the application

  1. Go to Parameters by clicking on the wheel.
  2. In Stream format, choose HLS (.m3u8), then click on Save. If this option was already checked and you are still having problems, try using MPEGTS (.ts).
  3. Go back in time Parameters, then go to Player settings.
  4. Check that Hardware decoder is selected. If it's already selected and you're still having problems, check Software decoder instead.
  5. Put on Stamp size limit à 100, then click on Save.

🛡️ Step 7: Activate VPN

If the previous steps are not enough, activate a VPN to bypass network blocks related to your internet connection.
